Limited Release Canadian Whisky Celebrates 100 Years of the Detroit Red Wings in Hockeytown.

J.P. Wiser’s, the Official Canadian Whisky of the Detroit Red Wings, has released a limited-edition bottle of its award-winning 10-Year-Old Triple Barrel Whisky to honor the team’s centennial season. The commemorative bottle will be available throughout Michigan and inside Little Caesars Arena during the 2025–26 NHL season. With over 165 years of whisky-making history, J.P. Wiser’s is Canada’s oldest continuously produced whisky brand and ranks as the country’s second-largest Canadian whisky.

Returning Fan Favorite

First introduced in November 2023 to mark the partnership between J.P. Wiser’s and the Red Wings, the collectible bottle quickly became popular among fans. The design highlights the team’s branding and a tribute to The Legend of the Octopus. For the Red Wings’ 100th season, the bottle returns as a keepsake for supporters.

Hockeytown isn’t just a nickname — it’s a way of life. As the Red Wings celebrate 100 years on the ice, we’re proud to offer fans a whisky that reflects the same tradition and spirit,” said Nicolas Seguin, Director of Export Sales for J.P. Wiser’s. “Pairing our award-winning 10-Year-Old Canadian Whisky with a bottle design that celebrates the rich heritage and culture of this historic team is our way of giving Red Wings fans a collectible they can enjoy with friends or proudly display as part of their memorabilia.

Whisky Details

Produced in Windsor, Ontario, J.P. Wiser’s 10-Year-Old is a high-rye whisky aged in new American oak, ex-bourbon, and used Canadian whisky barrels, and bottled at 80 proof. The whisky is described as smooth and complex, with aromas of caramel, honeycomb toffee, vanilla, dried fruits, and rye spice. The palate brings roasted rye spice with honeycomb, vanilla, and caramel, finishing with green apple, pear, dried fruit, and allspice.

The Red Wings commemorative 10-Year-Old bottle retails for $24.99 and was first available beginning with the team’s pre-season home opener on September 23.
