Lynchburg, Tenn. (December 1, 2025) — Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is once again spreading holiday cheer and giving back through its annual “Barrel Tree” sale, benefiting Operation Ride Home, a national program dedicated to helping junior-enlisted service members and their families travel home for the holidays.

Barrels from 12 Jack Daniel’s Barrel Trees on display nationwide are now available for purchase at $200 each through operationridehome.com. Proceeds directly support the Operation Ride Home program in partnership with the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA). Since 2011, the program has helped more than 14,000 military members and families return home for the holidays and has raised over $4 million in support funds across all 50 states.

“The holidays are a time for connection and gratitude, and we’re proud to support the brave men and women who serve our country,” said Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller. “Each barrel carries a piece of Jack Daniel’s tradition while helping bring our heroes home for the holidays. We invite everyone to join us in turning these barrels into lasting memories for service members and their loved ones.”

Jack Daniel’s first debuted its iconic 26-foot-tall Barrel Tree in 2011 in Lynchburg, Tennessee, constructed from 140 American white oak whiskey barrels. What began as a local holiday tradition has grown into a nationwide celebration. This year, 22 Barrel Trees are illuminating cities across the country, including:

Buffalo, NY; Charlotte, NC; Inglewood, CA; Lynchburg, TN; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; New Brunswick, NJ; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX; San Francisco, CA; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C.

Each barrel—once used to mature Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey—now plays a second role in supporting military families and spreading holiday goodwill.
