Ole Smoky Distillery announces the return of football icon Jason Kelce as “Team Captain” for its 2025 tailgating season.

The collaboration is part of Ole Smoky’s seasonal “C’mon Raise The Jar” campaign, which encourages fans to embrace the traditions of food, drinks, and camaraderie during fall football.

Sweepstakes Offers Fans Tailgate Kits

As part of the promotion, five fans will win Jason Kelce-curated Tailgate Kits featuring gear selected by Kelce to elevate game day gatherings. The “Tailgate Like a Champ” sweepstakes runs from September 2 through November 30, 2025. Fans can enter at cmonraisethejar.olesmoky.com.

Jason Kelce Shares Tailgating Tips

“Tailgating’s one of the best traditions in sports—it’s all about good food, cold drinks and great people coming together for a fun time,” said Jason Kelce. “Getting ready for it is half the excitement, and I’m fired up to share some of my favorite ways to make game day an absolute blast.”

Kelce’s top recommendations include setting up a lively tailgate scene with tents, coolers, and team flags, preparing BBQ staples in advance, stocking the cooler with Ole Smoky Moonshine, bringing games and music to keep energy high, and showing team spirit with themed gear.

Building on a Successful Partnership

Kelce commented on the ongoing collaboration, saying, “As I enter my second year as Ole Smoky’s official team captain, I’m proud to continue this incredible partnership. In 2025, we’re taking things to the next level – bringing the same energy, camaraderie and good times all while spotlighting Ole Smoky’s creative and delicious products.”

Highlighting Ole Smoky Flavors

Stephanie Moraine, Ole Smoky’s marketing director, noted Kelce’s favorite pour is Blackberry Lemonade, a simple cocktail combining Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine with lemonade. For a lighter variation, club soda can be used in place of lemonade. Additional cocktail ideas are available at cmonraisethejar.olesmoky.com.
