Jim Beam has unveiled Lineage Batch #2, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted by 7th and 8th Generation Beam family Master Distillers, Fred and Freddie Noe.
This premium expression represents a true father-son collaboration and is available exclusively at The James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus in Clermont, Kentucky. According to the brand, “Lineage is the first bourbon from the Jim Beam portfolio to feature Freddie’s name,” marking an important milestone for the next generation of the Beam family.
A Rare 15-Year Bourbon Release
The bourbon was aged 15 years in charred white oak barrels at the Booker Noe Plant and bottled at 55.5% ABV (111 proof). Fred and Freddie hand-selected this whiskey, which the company describes as “a collector’s item” for enthusiasts. The suggested retail price for Lineage Batch #2 is $250 for a 700mL bottle.
Jim Beam Lineage Tasting Notes
Lineage Batch #2 features a mahogany color with an aroma of creamy toffee, vanilla, and seasoned oak. The flavor profile includes leather and char complemented by sweet crème brûlée, while the finish is full-bodied with notes of matured oak. The whiskey also retains the familiar mouthfeel for which Jim Beam is recognized, delivering classic notes of spice, vanilla, and caramel for a balanced experience.
