Kyle Busch Debuts New Rebel Bourbon Paint Scheme at Richmond NASCAR Race.

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch will turn heads this weekend at Richmond Raceway as he debuts an all-new Rebel Bourbon paint scheme on his No. 8 Chevrolet. The design celebrates the brand’s iconic wheated bourbon, features sharp red and black branding, and the brand’s home at Lux Row Distillers. The No. 8 Chevrolet also features the slogan “Live Against The Grain” in reference to the Rebel Spirit of the brand and a nod to the wood grain leveraged in the barrel aging of Kentucky Bourbon.

NASCAR Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Richmond Raceway in Virginia for the 2025 Cook Out 400 on Saturday, August 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET. This 0.75-mile D-shaped short track is famous for its tight racing, high tire wear, and pit stop strategy that can determine a driver’s finish. The race spans 400 laps (300 miles) and will be broadcast live on USA Network.

Rebel Bourbon — distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky — was named the Official Bourbon of Richard Childress Racing (RCR) at the beginning of the 2025 season, continuing a multi-race primary sponsorship with expanded fan engagement and at-track promotions. The partnership began during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Wheated Bourbon on the Rise

Rebel Bourbon has been crafting wheated bourbon since 1849, long before the style’s current boom. Replacing rye with wheat in the mash bill gives wheated bourbon a smoother, sweeter taste profile—making it one of the hottest categories in American whiskey today. From collectors to casual fans, the demand for wheated bourbon is at an all-time high.
