Redemption Whiskey Adds to “Ancients Series” with New 18-Year-Old Bourbon

Redemption Whiskey has officially announced the release of Redemption 18-Year-Old Bourbon, the latest addition to its limited Ancients Series collection. Aged for nearly two decades and bottled at 103.4 proof, the new expression will be available beginning June 15, 2025, via pre-order on ReserveBar.com and in select markets. Only 2,400 bottles are being produced.

A Rediscovered Treasure Aged to Perfection

Originally distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the bourbon was aged under the guidance of Redemption Whiskey’s Master Blender, Alan Kennedy. “Redemption 18-Year-Old Bourbon is one of the rarest and most complex expressions we’ve ever had the privilege to release,” said Kennedy. “Crafting a bourbon of this age and quality is incredibly rare… It’s a proud moment for both me and Redemption.

Flavor Profile: Depth, Complexity, and Character

The bourbon was aged solely in charred American Oak barrels and bottled non-chill filtered. According to tasting notes from the brand, the nose opens with warm oak, cherry jam, cinnamon, and mint. The palate continues with cherry, oak, sweet corn, vanilla, and leather, finishing with a medium to long profile marked by lingering oak, vanilla, and cherry notes.

Award-Winning Addition to the Ancients Series

The new release joins other ultra-aged expressions in the Ancients Series, including the Redemption 36-Year-Old Bourbon and 18-Year-Old Rye. The 18-Year-Old Bourbon has already received high recognition, earning Double Gold at both the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition.

Exclusive and Collectible

Redemption 18-Year-Old Bourbon is priced at a suggested retail price of $399.99 for a 750mL bottle. Due to its limited run and high demand, availability is restricted to select markets and online orders through ReserveBar.com where permitted.
