A Unique Bourbon Collaboration Between Remington and Log Still Distillery
Remington Ammunition and Log Still Distillery have announced the launch of Remington Reserve Bourbon, branded as “Open Season.” The new release will debut during special events hosted at Log Still Distillery from August through October 2025, with broader distribution beginning in fall 2025.
A Partnership Rooted in Tradition
“Remington is growing their category with licensing partners; we’re always looking for quality partners and new categories for the brand,” said Kaylene Christian, Shooting Accessories and Licensing Product Manager. “Located in Gethsemane, Kentucky—within the heart of Bourbon country—Log Still Distillery is a family-owned operation rooted in bourbon-making tradition. They offer premium bourbons, gins, and Tennessee whiskies and are committed to excellence in craftsmanship. We are excited and happy to be working closely with them on this new product launch.”
Details of the Bourbon Release
Remington Reserve “Open Season” is an 86-proof proprietary blend of Kentucky and Tennessee bourbons. The bourbon is positioned as a whiskey for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, with branding that emphasizes tradition and shared experiences. Each bottle includes a writable memory label designed for recording personal moments and stories.
Honoring Traditions and Memories
“Remington has always been about traditions and legacy, and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture in this bottle,” said Denise Ingle, Chief Brand and Strategy Officer at Log Still Distillery. “The back label is more than a design element—it’s a place to record the hunts, the companions, and the stories that matter most. It’s about preserving the moments we share with our cherished ones and keeping those memories alive in a bottle.”
Availability and Distribution
The bourbon is initially available at Log Still Distillery’s tasting room and through select retailers in Kentucky. Distribution will expand to Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi, and additional states in the coming weeks. Direct-to-customer orders will be available online beginning September 8, 2025, in select states.
