Slipknot Releases Its New No. 9 Iowa “Red Cask” Whiskey

Slipknot’s Red Cask Finished Whiskey Returns for 2023.

Slipknot just introduced the 2023 Limited Edition No. 9 Iowa “Red Cask” Whiskey. Red Cask Whiskey is available now for purchase at slipknotwhiskey.com/shop.

Building on the success of Slipknot’s award-winning No. 9 whiskeys, Red Cask aims to add additional depth and complexity to Cedar Ridge’s aged stocks. This year’s edition features a blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskeys first matured in new American oak barrels and then finished in red wine casks, hand selected by clown and Head Distiller Murphy Quint. Red Cask No. 9 features a mashbill of 51% Corn, 35% Malted Rye, and 14% Malted Barley. It is bottled at 90 Proof (45% ABV) and is priced at $59.99 for the 750 mL bottle.

The red wine finish gives a new dimension of flavor, body, and finish to the final product; all while packing the punch Slipknot No. 9 fans have come to love.
