Limited Edition Celebrates a Decade of Craft and Family Tradition

Starlight Distillery has announced the release of its inaugural 10-Year Bourbon, marking a milestone in the Indiana-based distillery’s commitment to craft and tradition. This limited-edition release is the distillery’s oldest bourbon to date and reflects ten years of aging and refinement on the Huber family estate.

Farm-to-Glass Craftsmanship

The 10-Year Bourbon begins with estate-grown grains harvested from Huber’s Orchard & Winery, the home of Starlight Distillery. The grains are milled, sweet mash fermented, and double pot distilled using a 500-gallon copper pot still—all on-site. This process emphasizes the distillery’s farm-to-glass philosophy, with every step completed within the Huber estate.

Aged in Napa Valley Cooperage Barrels

Matured in Seguin Moreau Icône barrels sourced from Napa Valley, the bourbon was stored in Warehouse 2, West Side—Starlight’s warmest aging environment. The conditions are designed to intensify the bourbon’s complexity, producing a spirit with pronounced body and layered aromas.

Flavor Profile and Family Selection

Each barrel of the 10-Year Bourbon was hand-selected by members of the Huber family and bottled at its peak maturity. The bourbon presents tasting notes of “dark caramel, charred oak, ripe orchard fruit, and warm baking spice,” according to the press release. Christian Huber, seventh-generation distiller, stated, “This isn’t just another bourbon—it’s a reflection of our family’s legacy and the land we’ve farmed for over 180 years.”

Limited Release Event on July 26th

The 10-Year Bourbon will be released on July 26, 2025, at Starlight Distillery (19816 Huber Road, Borden, IN). A public release event will begin at 10 a.m., offering attendees the opportunity to meet the Huber family and sample the bourbon. Availability will be extremely limited.
