Closing Thoughts
The Summer of Bourbon is a fun collection and the “Soaring Spice” blend of four Frey Ranch barrels is the perfect way to kick it off. If you are fans of Frey Ranch like us, you will appreciate the nuances of this blend and the while still experiencing some of the traditional notes.
Tasting Notes from Lost Lantern
This four-year-old, four-grain straight bourbon has notes of clove, nutmeg, orange peel, cardamom, and allspice, a deep oak flavor, and a long, warming finish. This is straight bourbon whiskey at its finest: rich, oaky, spicy, and sweet, in perfect proportion.
