Sweetens Cove Spirits Launches 5-Year and 6-Year Tennessee Straight Bourbons.

Sweetens Cove Spirits has announced the launch of two new Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskeys: a 5-Year Aged Tennessee Bourbon and Sweetens Cove Dunwoody, a 6-Year Aged Wheated Tennessee Bourbon. Both expressions carry forward the brand’s connection to its namesake nine-hole golf course in Tennessee. Inspired by a legendary golf course, the new releases expand Sweetens Cove’s portfolio with approachable and distinctive expressions.

Flavor and Proof Details

  • Sweetens Cove 5-Year Aged Bourbon is bottled at 93.7 proof and priced at $40. It is described as smooth, mixable, and approachable, with tasting notes of caramel, honey, toasted oak, baking spice, and bright fruit.
  • Sweetens Cove Dunwoody 6-Year Aged Wheated Bourbon, bottled at 95 proof and priced at $60, is named after the famed Dunwoody tree on the course. It features notes of vanilla, toffee, dried fruit, and brown sugar.

Inspired by the Sweetens Cove Golf Tradition

The brand traces its origin to a ritual at the Sweetens Cove golf course, where players traditionally began each round with a shot of bourbon on the first tee. Co-founder Andy Roddick explained, “We set out to capture the feeling of that first tee shot – the laughter, the anticipation, the freedom – and pour it into every bottle.
