New Look Celebrates Bourbon and Rock Heritage.

Three Chord Bourbon has released Volume 2, a revamped collection that features new labels, blends, and marketing rooted in music culture. The refreshed packaging includes concert photography and design elements inspired by classic vinyl records, reflecting the brand’s deep ties to the music world. This release marks a major visual and thematic shift for the brand, aligning its whiskey more closely than ever with its rock-and-roll roots.

Music and Whiskey Come Together in Every Detail

Founded by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Neil Giraldo, Three Chord continues to intertwine music with whiskey. “With Volume 2, Three Chord isn’t just celebrating music—we’re honoring the full creative experience,” Giraldo said. Events celebrating the launch were held at the Power Station in New York and the Morrison Gallery in Los Angeles, showcasing the collection’s artistic direction. Whiskey Maker Ari Sussman added, “With each release, we’ve been deliberate about aligning the design, photography, product name, and spirit itself.”

Volume 2 Lineup Highlights Artists and Innovation

The Volume 2 release features several new and award-winning expressions:

  • Flipside Triplewood Bourbon: Features blues guitarist Guitar Shorty, aged 4–7 years, finished in French and American oak. Double Gold at SF World Spirits Competition.
  • Hard Pressed Bottled-in-Bond: Honors Cordell Jackson, early rockabilly pioneer, aged 4 years at 100 proof.
  • RIOT Double Bonded Rye: Celebrates punk band The Darts, blending two Bottled-in-Bond ryes from MGP and Bardstown Bourbon Company.
  • Un-Edited: An uncut, unfiltered 118-proof bourbon featuring an image of Australian band Purple Disturbance.
  • Strange Collab: A Pinot Noir cask-finished bourbon, featuring Neil Giraldo and Rick Derringer, with proceeds benefiting the Johnny Strange Foundation.

A Tribute to Creativity and Craftsmanship

Volume 2 continues Three Chord’s mission to harmonize exceptional whiskey making with a dedication to the creative arts. Each expression honors both musical icons and unique finishing techniques. The brand, founded by Neil Giraldo, remains committed to celebrating the artistry behind both spirits and sound.
