The 2026 release marks the third consecutive year of collaboration between Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall and Compartés Founder and Chocolatier Jonathan Grahm.
Fireside-Inspired Confection Featuring Double Oaked Bourbon
The latest release draws inspiration from winter flavors and campfire nostalgia, incorporating Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon’s signature notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel. These flavors are combined with toasted marshmallow, graham cracker, and rich dark chocolate to create a s’mores-style chocolate bar intended to evoke a fireside experience during the colder months.
Seasonal Cocktail Introduced Alongside the Chocolate Bar
In conjunction with the chocolate bar, Woodford Reserve also introduced the S’more Old Fashioned, a seasonal cocktail built around Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. The cocktail is positioned as a complementary way to experience the flavors featured in the collaboration.
- Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
- 1 oz Light Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
- 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters
- Chocolate Syrup & Crushed Graham Cracker Rim
- Toasted Marshmallow
- How to:
- Dip the rim of a rocks glass in chocolate syrup and crushed graham cracker.
- Add a large ice cube, 1.5 oz of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, 1 oz of Light Brown Sugar Simple Syrup, and two dashes of Chocolate Bitters.
- Stir and enjoy
Collaboration Rooted in Shared Flavor Exploration
