Jake’s Tasting Notes: Old Rick House Rye Double Oaked In French Oak Barrels

Finish: very lively on the palate, stays with you for a long while.
Closing Thoughts:
Old Rickhouse Rye Finished in French Oak barrels is right up my alley for its palate. When I first tried this bottle, I was in love. Anything with candied orange slices throws me right back to my childhood with my dad traveling on vacation. This bottle is easy to drink, I truly enjoy it and would buy again if I had the opportunity.
What is the one tasting note in whiskey that makes you recall a fond, childhood memory? Let us know!
