It’s the holiday season and everyone is looking for that last second gift! With the release of the Booker’s Bourbon “Pinkie’s Batch” it might be the perfect gift. With the other successful releases this year, I’m excited to share my thoughts on their final release of the year.
Just the facts:
Proof: 122.4
Age: 6 years-10 months-10 days
Mash bill: Undisclosed
Style: Bourbon
Jake’s tasting notes: Pinkie’s Batch
Nose: A huge wave a caramel meets your nose at first, the second note is walnut and peanuts, followed lastly by a hint of chocolate.
Palate: The first sip brings oak tannins and nuttiness. The second sip mellows out to slight peanut and chocolate. This is a bold flavors are indicative of traditional Booker’s Bourbon.
Finish: Full oak tannins that is long and full of flavor.
Closing Thoughts:
If you want a big bold bourbon just in time for the holidays grab this one! I would say this Booker’s Bourbon stacks up nicely with the others. Let us know your thoughts!
