Limited Release Showcases a Decade of Estate-Grown Craftsmanship and Family Legacy.

Starlight Distillery has announced the release of its highly anticipated 10-Year Reserve Bourbon, one of the rarest and most prestigious expressions ever produced by the Southern Indiana distillery.

Set for release on June 20, 2026, the limited-edition bourbon represents a decade of maturation and craftsmanship, showcasing some of the oldest whiskey resting in the Huber family’s rickhouses. With only approximately 2,000 bottles available, the release stands as a milestone for the family-owned distillery and its grain-to-glass approach to whiskey production.

A True Estate-Grown Bourbon

Produced entirely on the Huber family estate in Starlight, Indiana, the 10-Year Reserve Bourbon is crafted from grains grown and harvested by the family. The ten-barrel blend combines both Starlight’s signature three-grain and four-grain mash bills, built around heirloom corn varieties and Indiana rye.

The whiskey was sweet mash fermented and double pot distilled using Vendome copper stills before being entered into barrels at a low proof for long-term maturation.

Initially aged in the distillery’s original warehouse, the barrels were later moved to Warehouse No. 2 on the west side of the property. According to the distillery, this warmer aging environment accelerated interaction between the whiskey and oak, helping develop greater depth, complexity, and concentration of flavors.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Dark caramel, Toasted vanilla, Charred oak, Ripe orchard fruit, and Warm baking spices
  • Palate: Rich toffee, Baked stone fruit, Dark honey, Seasoned oak, a Deep, balanced sweetness
  • Finish: Long and elegant with a lingering oak spice, Caramelized sugar, and Velvety warmth

Bottled at a Bold Cask Strength

The 10-Year Reserve Bourbon is bottled at a robust 114.2 proof, preserving the full character developed during its decade-long aging process.

According to seventh-generation distiller Christian Huber, the release is intended to showcase the highest level of quality Starlight Distillery can achieve.

“Every barrel reflects ten years of stewardship, patience and belief in the process. Every decision was made with one goal: to create the finest bourbon Starlight Distillery could possibly produce,” said Huber. “It’s not simply a 10-year bourbon, but a statement of legacy for our family.”
