Preservation Distillery recently unveiled two limited editions of Very Olde St. Nick whiskeys. The 16 years old “Notorious O.S.N.” and the 9 years old “Straight Outta Bardstown”, both embody the distillery’s tradition of complex flavours. As a part of a vintage collection, these batches express the distillery’s dedication to whiskey-making, with production continuing in small amounts at the Kentucky distillery and distribution focused on North American markets.

Lux Row Distillers Announce New Rebel Small Batch Reserve Bourbon

Lux Row Distillers is set to release a new bourbon whiskey, Rebel Small Batch Reserve, across the U.S. later this month. The whiskey, hand-selected by Master Distiller John Rempe, features the finest barrels from Rebel’s four-year-old mash bill. Retailing for $34.99 per 750 ml bottle, it offers intense notes of honey, vanilla, caramel, dark fruit with robust barrel tones, and a warm finish.

New Release of Old Fitzgerald for Fall 2023 features 8 Year Old Bourbon

Heaven Hill Distillery announced the release of the Fall 2023 Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This 8-year-old product, made from barrels of fall 2015, costs $109.99 and is the latest addition to the decanter series. It offers flavors of brown sugar, toasty bread, cinnamon, nutmeg, peaches and cream, caramel sweetness, and a touch of spice.

Four New Highly Aged Bourbons Ranked & Reviewed

This blind flight reviewed four 10+ year aged bourbons – Preservation – Immaculta, Heaven Hill – Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond, Ross & Squibb – Remus Gatsby Reserve and Wild Turkey – Russell Reserve Single Rickhouse CNF. Each offering distinct nose, palate, and finish. Ranked highest to lowest were Remus Gatsby Reserve, Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse CNF, Immaculta, and Old Fitzgerald 10 Year Old Bottle In Bond.
