The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce has introduced a new expression that combines the brand’s signature Louisiana-style heat with flavors developed through six months of barrel aging. The new Bourbon Barrel Hot Sauce is now available at retailers nationwide, including Walmart and Food Lion.
The launch expands the brand’s portfolio with a bourbon-inspired offering designed to complement barbecue, grilled foods, wings, burgers, and other game-day favorites.
Aged in Bourbon Barrels for Added Complexity
According to the company, the new hot sauce begins with its traditional pepper blend before undergoing an additional six-month aging process in bourbon barrels. The extended maturation is intended to impart additional depth and complexity while maintaining the balanced heat profile that has defined the brand for more than 95 years.
The sauce is made from a simple ingredient list consisting of bourbon barrel-aged peppers, distilled vinegar, and salt.
