Wheatley American Vodka to Sponsor NASCAR’s 2027 Clash at Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR and Wheatley American Vodka are joining forces in a new multi-year partnership that names the Buffalo Trace-produced vodka the Official Vodka of NASCAR. The agreement also makes Wheatley the entitlement partner of The Wheatley Vodka Clash, NASCAR’s annual preseason exhibition race.
The partnership will bring Wheatley American Vodka into NASCAR’s year-round marketing and promotional efforts while creating new fan experiences around race weekends and The Clash.
Wheatley American Vodka Becomes Official Vodka of NASCAR
Crafted at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, Wheatley American Vodka will hold NASCAR’s vodka category rights for marketing and promotion.
The partnership will include integration across NASCAR platforms and marquee events throughout the year, along with a custom 30-second promotional spot and on-site fan activations.
NASCAR says the partnership reflects shared values surrounding American craftsmanship, tradition and creating memorable experiences for fans.
“The strongest partnerships are built on authentic connections, and like many of the partnerships we’ve forged in recent months, Wheatley American Vodka shares the values that have defined NASCAR for generations—from a commitment to craftsmanship and American tradition to creating memorable experiences for our fans,” said Jake Krantz, Senior Director of National Sales, NASCAR. “From race weekends to the Wheatley Vodka Clash, this partnership gives us new opportunities to elevate the fan experience while introducing one of America’s premier vodka brands to one of the most passionate fan communities in sports.”
Wheatley Vodka Clash Coming to Daytona in 2027
The new partnership will be especially visible through The Wheatley Vodka Clash, which will return to Daytona International Speedway in 2027.
The preseason Cup Series exhibition race is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2027, at the iconic Florida track. As entitlement partner, Wheatley American Vodka will have a prominent role surrounding the event, including elevated fan experiences and activations at The Clash.
The move to Daytona marks a return for the preseason event, which serves as one of NASCAR’s signature annual races ahead of the regular Cup Series season.
Buffalo Trace Vodka Connects with NASCAR Fans
Wheatley American Vodka is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery and has positioned itself around quality, American craftsmanship and accessibility. The NASCAR partnership gives the brand an opportunity to connect those themes with the sport’s large and passionate fan base.
“Wheatley American Vodka was built with a focus on quality, hard work, and bringing people together, making NASCAR a natural fit for our brand,” said David Binder, Senior Brand Director, Wheatley American Vodka. “Whether fans are celebrating at the track, gathering with friends to watch the race, attending The Clash, or raising a glass after a memorable weekend, we’re proud to become part of those moments and to begin this partnership with one of America’s most iconic sports.”
NASCAR and Wheatley Plan Future Military and Veteran Initiative
Beyond marketing and race-day activations, NASCAR and Wheatley American Vodka will also collaborate on a program designed to give back to service members and military veterans. Additional details about the initiative are expected to be announced at a later date.
The multi-year agreement expands Wheatley American Vodka’s presence in motorsports while giving NASCAR another spirits partner with deep ties to American-made production and Kentucky distilling.
