Brush Creek Launches 'Heroes Edition' Bourbon for America's 250th

SARATOGA, WYO. (June 29, 2026) – Brush Creek Distillery, an award-winning small-batch craft distillery located on a historic working cattle ranch in Wyoming, has officially announced the 2026 release of its Brush Creek Heroes Edition Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This special multi-barrel batch arrives in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary (Semiquincentennial), honoring the everyday heroes who shape the nation.

While the distillery historically releases just a single barrel of this expression annually, the team expanded production to three select barrels for 2026 to mark this historic milestone.

A Patriotic Blend of Red, White, and Blue

Reflecting the true spirit of the American West, the 2026 Brush Creek Heroes Edition Bourbon features a unique, multi-grain mashbill that incorporates a patriotic grain profile of Red Winter Wheat, alongside Blue, White, and Yellow corn.

The final spirit is a blend of straight bourbons and a hearty dose of rye, aged between 6 and 12 years.

Flavor Profile & Mashbill Breakdown:

The Mashbill: 54% Yellow Corn, 21% Rye, 7% Red Winter Wheat, 7% Blue Corn, 7% White Corn, and 4% Barley.
Tasting Notes: A golden amber hue with warm mahogany undertones. The nose offers hints of citrus zest, sweet biscuit, clove, and baking spice. The palate delivers rich layers of cinnamon roll, pecan pie, leather, and oak, leading into a long, warming finish.
