Limited-Edition Release Features Original Label Artwork by Artist, Filmmaker, and Pro Skier Chris Benchetler
CORONA DEL MAR, CA (October 21, 2025) – Altamar Brands today announced the launch of High n’ Wicked Warlander Blended Straight Whiskey, a new limited-edition release that merges bold whiskey craftsmanship with the artistry of renowned artist, filmmaker, and professional skier Chris Benchetler.
Warlander unites three- and four-year-old Kentucky Straight Rye and Bourbon whiskeys, melding the fruit-forward, spice-driven notes of Kentucky Straight Rye with the depth and warmth of a high-rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The result is a bold, layered, and intentional blend conceived through a series of blind tastings with bartenders, distillers, blenders, and spirits experts — ultimately chosen for its greater complexity and balance than its individual components.
Following the blending process, Warlander was rebarreled in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-rye casks and allowed to rest for just over two months to deepen flavor integration and texture.
“Like the whiskey, Benchetler’s original design is raw, refined, and fearless,” said the High n’ Wicked team. “Wild in spirit like the hybrid horse it’s named for, Warlander is a category-defying whiskey that honors tradition while breaking through it.”
Bottled at 99 proof (49.5% ABV) to best showcase its full complexity and balance, High n’ Wicked Warlander Blended Straight Whiskey is available in limited quantities online and in select U.S. markets for a suggested retail price of $54.99.
