Buffalo Trace has a Vodka and It’s Now the Official Vodka of WWE’s Wrestlemania XL

Wheatley Vodka from the famed Buffalo Trace Distillery is the namesake of Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley

Sports Business Journal first reported that TKO Holdings, the sports entertainment conglomerate behind both UFC and WWE, has signed a deal with The Sazerac Company and Wheatley Vodka. Sazerac’s Buffalo Trace Distillery is the producer of Wheatley Vodka, named after its Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley. As part of the deal, Wheatley Vodka is now “The Official Vodka of WrestleMania XL.” Believed to be WWE’s first spirits sponsorship, perhaps this opens up the playing field for some Kentucky Bourbon to grace the airwaves with WWE.

WrestleMania XL will be held on April 6-7 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. The WrestleMania deal also includes live-event brand integrations on both nights of WrestleMania XL, inclusion in the event’s Kickoff Show, social/digital media executions and a sweepstakes promo.

According to Sports Business Journal, the partnership will extend beyond WrestleMania weekend and Wheatley will also be presenting sponsor of a yet-to-be-titled, six-part series on WWE social/digital channels featuring Cody “The American Nightmare” Rhodes interviewing fellow WWE Superstars. A Wheatley Vodka-branded tour bus will be featured in the series. This was confirmed this week as WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes announced on Twitter/X that he will be the a “spokesperson/sponsored athlete with Wheatley American Vodka.”

About Wheatley Vodka

Wheatley Vodka is a 10x distilled, triple filtered vodka that is so smooth you can sip it straight. Hailing from Buffalo Trace Distillery, the world’s most award-winning distillery, Wheatley is made with the same red winter wheat and limestone water that the Distillery uses in its revered bourbons. Crafted in small batches every time to ensure that each bottle meets the Distillery’s high standards, Wheatley Vodka is, according to the brand’s namesake and Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley, “how vodka is supposed to taste.” Though distilled from red winter wheat, Wheatley vodka is gluten-free.
