Jim Beam is bringing back one of the most recognizable bottles in its history.
The brand has announced the return of Beam’s Ten-Pin Decanter, a limited 2026 release inspired by the bowling pin-shaped Jim Beam bottles first introduced in the 1950s. Originally given by Jim Beam to friends, family and business associates, the distinctive decanters eventually became highly sought-after collectibles among bourbon enthusiasts.
For its return, the iconic bottle will be filled with 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). The bourbon was aged in new charred American oak barrels, with the extended maturation intended to provide additional depth and character while maintaining the traditional Beam profile. Tasting notes include rich oak, vanilla, baked bread and caramel on the nose, followed by toffee, toasted oak, baking spices and subtle fruit on the palate.
The bourbon’s return coincides with Jim Beam Day on August 22, when the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, will host special programming celebrating the brand’s history. Visitors can experience a vintage Jim Beam tasting, bottle customization opportunities and other activities across the distillery campus.
“The Ten-Pin bottle is one of those pieces of Beam history that people remember,” said Freddie Noe, eighth-generation master distiller at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. Noe said the bourbon inside the revived decanter was selected to be “just as special as the bottle itself,” with the 10-year, 100-proof whiskey intended to reflect the Beam family’s longstanding bourbon-making tradition.
Beam’s Ten-Pin Bottle will be available beginning August 22, 2026, exclusively at The American Outpost at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont. The limited-edition 750mL bottle carries a suggested retail price of $124.99.
